Andrea Marie Davis is a Board Certified Art Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor. She operates a private practice in Dallas, Texas.  She specializes in art therapy with clients who have experienced trauma, foster care/ post adoption and medical issues.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Dallas and has a Masters of Arts degree in Humanistic Psychology from the University of West Georgia.  Andrea finished her post graduate work at the Art Therapy Institute and University of Dallas.  She has held the ATR-BC and the LPC for seven years.

During her ten years of practice, Andrea has dedicated herself to advancing the profession of art therapy.  She was the first art therapist at Cook Children’s Hospital which led to the development of a creative arts program in the hospital.  She has served as the Local Conference Chairperson for the American Art Therapy Association.  She has also held leadership positions on the board of the North Texas Art Therapy Association as President and Vice President ans currently is Treasurer.  Additionally, she is an active member of Texas Counseling Association.  Andrea ardently supports community projects to educate the public about the role of the art therapist.  She has published and appeared on a national cable television to showcase the benefits of art therapy in mental healthcare.
